"Nothing is truly late when it follows the secret timing of the soul." — G
When I had my children, something unlocked. For the first time, I unpacked a bag full of colorful memories and experiences I had put away in a dark closet — along with my previous life — and started to physically root. Where else but the garden. I planted my very first tree as a symbol of adaptation — a Mimosa Silk Tree, known as the Tree of Happiness. A stand-in for the red-blooming Royal Poinciana I had left behind in the Caribbean — the flamboyant tree, the Tree of Confidence, the Flame of the Forest. Around it I planted cosmos for hibiscuses, yuccas, ferns, jasmine, roses, and grasses. A whole new paradise, grown from memory and longing and love.
That's the spirit behind CB BOYAN.
Being home with my girls in our little paradise was bliss — and I captured that bliss and turned it into art for my walls. At the encouragement of a friend, I submitted several pieces to a juried art show. They were accepted. My art began to sell, as they say, at the speed of light. None of it was planned. All of it was perfectly timed. The garden had been telling me something I wasn't ready to hear until I was standing in it — that the most spectacular things in life do not bloom on demand. They bloom when they are ready.
The flamboyant tree knows this better than anyone.
In the Caribbean, the Royal Poinciana does not rush. It weathers seasons of transformation — drought, heat, long stretches of green silence — before bursting into a canopy of flame so breathtaking it stops traffic. It is a symbol of birth and new beginnings, not despite its patience but because of it. Its delay is not a failure. Its timing is not late. It is simply following the secret schedule of something deeper than the calendar.
We live in a world fascinated with the early. Launch fast, bloom sooner, arrive before everyone else. CB BOYAN pushes back on all of that. What if your most spectacular season is still gathering itself under the surface? What if the years that looked like nothing were actually everything — the roots going deeper, the colors concentrating, the soul preparing for a bloom so vivid it will stop traffic?
The flamboyant tree doesn't apologize for making you wait. It just opens.
That's not a delay. That's devotion to the right moment.
CB BOYAN settles into a space the way a late bloom settles into a garden — suddenly, completely, and more beautifully than anything that came before it. You don't notice its full radiance immediately. You notice it when the room feels like a reward — like something you earned by staying.
Their symbolism is a source of empowerment and guidance — and that's exactly what this wallpaper is meant to be. A message on your walls that your new beginning is closer than it may seem. That nothing you have lived through has been wasted. That the confidence, the color, the flame you were born with has been there all along — waiting for the right season to show itself.
So let CB BOYAN take over your space. Plant what you love. Trust your timing. And get ready to bloom.
Root patiently. Bloom spectacularly. Flame forward.
CB BOYAN — because the most beautiful things in life are never too late. They were always exactly on time.
