The Scoop On Buying Paint Pops

Your body speaks fluent color—it can even hear color sing. This makes you the premier color expert of your life, with the ability to feel beauty and harmony as well as see it. Our Devine Color families, their somatic harmony, and our Paint Pop Kits make the color-choosing process effortless while saving the world from thousands of unwanted color mistakes that would otherwise go from garages to garbage dumps.

Each kit comes with 4, 6, or 8 Paint Pop samples, a paintbrush, card stock for each color, and instructions on how to view the colors individually and together.

Step 1: Trust Our Colors

Devine Color families are Colowright™ by Gretchen Schauffler and flawlessly crafted with somatic harmonies that resonate deeply with your inner nature. You'll feel a sense of connection and belonging already inherent in the colors themselves.

Step 2: Build Your Color Harmony

Forget you're looking at wall colors—spend time getting to know our Devine Color families. Click and view up to 8 colors together at the bottom of the page, trying different combinations until you find the ones that take your breath away. Don't shy away from colors that scare you—they might surprise you in exciting ways! Play until you discover your perfect palette—the 8 (the number of infinity) colors that feel like true love. Not "like," not "love," but *true love*—perfectly personal, emotionally satisfying, and beautifully harmonious. These are the colors you'll bring home to meet the rest of your color baggage.

Step 3: Take Charge Of Your Color Experience

Once you've ordered your Paint Pop Kit, enjoy the anticipation! Like baking or gardening, coloring is good for the soul. Watching paint dry isn't just a saying—it's a mindfulness practice. Creating a colorful vision for your life is deeply satisfying and emotionally grounding.

Step 4: Calculate How Much Paint You Need

Measure your walls. Use a tape measure to find the height and width of each wall, then multiply those numbers to get the square footage. Add up the total square footage for all walls, subtracting windows and doors. One gallon of paint typically covers about 350-400 square feet for one coat, but plan for two coats for a flawless finish. If math isn't your thing, use an online paint calculator to make it easy!

Step 5: Pick Your Paint Type and Sheen

Choose the right paint type based on the room's function:

  • Devine Powder Seashell Matte: For for Main Spaces
  • Devine Luscious Silk Worm Satin: For Active Spaces

Step 6: Gather Your Supplies

Before painting begins, make sure you have all the tools you'll need:

  • Paintbrushes (for edges and corners)
  • Rollers (for large surfaces)
  • Painter's tape (to protect trim and edges)
  • Drop cloths (to protect floors and furniture)
  • A paint tray or bucket with a roller grid

Step 7: Hire A Painter Who Trusts Your Color Choices

Once you have finalized Devine Color Harmony, paint finishes, the amount of paint your need per room, and your shipping dates, choose a painter who values your color choices as much as you do. If they suggest matching the colors in another brand "to save money," ask them these simple questions: "Will you guarantee a perfect match after the paint dries and cures for three weeks or repaint for free if it's off? "

They won’t and here’s why:

Painter's don't make or match paint. They apply it. Paint company matches allow for a 10% variance due to differences in pigment formulas, quality levels, sheens, surface textures, lighting conditions, and surrounding colors. Hire someone who respects your vision and understands that quality paints deliver better long-term results.

Place Your Paint Order
Once you've selected your colors, our paint sheen, and calculated how much you paint need, (see calculator) place your order online! It's simple, seamless, and designed to bring beauty into your home effortlessly. If you're using more than one gallon of paint, mix them together in a large bucket before starting—this ensures consistent color across all walls. (see ordering here)
