Color Baggage Manifesto

"We Believe Everything Is a Palette."

Not a trend. Not a formula. Not someone else's vision of beautiful. A palette — precise, intentional, and yours. Gretchen Schauffler offers palettes as tools of creative agency: in colors, words, intentions, and destinations — for you to craft the life you desire and make yourself the home, the path, and the destination.

I. COLOR
"Color is a palette for the senses."

Color is in our nature. It speaks directly to our nervous systems, our memories, and our longing for beauty, belonging, and harmony — before we have words for any of it. It is the original language. The one our bodies already know.

When we trust it, we stop decorating and start expressing. We stop following and start feeling — then leading — then coming home to ourselves.

II. WORDS
"Words are a palette for needs."

Color speaks before words do — but eventually, we have to name what we feel. The tension between what we sense and what we can say is where most conflict lives. A colorful palette of words bridges that gap: helping us identify what we are truly feeling, name what we actually need, and meet that need with beauty and harmony. Color and words do this at the speed of light.

III. INTENTION
"Intention is a palette for ownership."

Clarity is an act of care. When we understand the difference between a rooted intention and a rotten motive — between what we desire and what we demand — we stop reacting and start creating. We craft relationships, homes, and lives that feel chosen. Deliberate. Ours.

IV. CREATIVITY
"Creativity is a palette for destinations."

Mother Nature is the ultimate creative. She harmonizes the world with color — showing us millions of versions of beauty to meet our need for longing, belonging, and actualization. She makes every environment feel unique and distinct, yet connected, welcomed, and part of something greater. Part of a greater palette.

This is why we desire not just to live our lives — but to create them, share them, and co-create them with others.

That is the standard. That is the destination.

Your life. Your home. Your story. Your palette.

Your home is not a box that keeps nature out — it is a shell for you to embody the spirit of nature that lives inside you and gift others with your life.

Be the palette you were born to be.
