Long before sustainability became a buzzword, Gretchen Schauffler revolutionized the paint industry with her brand, Devine color, through an innovation as simple as it was profound: the mini-paint pouch. Inspired by a Costco margarita mix and Estée Lauder cosmetic samples, these pouches transformed how people chose paint colors for their homes.

By allowing customers to test colors before committing to full gallons, these pouches prevented countless mistake quarts from piling up in garages—and, ultimately, landfills. Like a wheelwright perfecting the wheel, Gretchen Schauffler reimagined the color wheel through paint reformulations that harmonize color with artistry and chemistry. By manipulating raw paint to interact with light, shadow, and texture, her colors behave as naturally as in nature, resonating emotionally and physically in your space.

Unlike standard paint colors that feel common or innocuous, our proprietary COLORWRIGHT™ formulations create natural color harmony you can trust.

Trust Yourself

Remember, you are the color expert of your life. These colors have done their work. Now it's your turn. Write down the names of colors your body reacts to. Don't shy away from colors that scare you—they might surprise you in exciting ways! Play until you settle for the ones that feel like true love. Not "like," not "love," but *true love*—perfectly personal, emotionally satisfying, and beautifully harmonious. Remember, your body speaks fluent color.

Do 2 coats.

Paint 2 coats on each cardstock and leave a white border to let each color's full complexity shine through without interference from surrounding shades or the one you're painting over.

Paint 2 coats with the leftover amount on your walls.

When you're done painting, seal the paint pop bag with tape or rinse it clean and let it dry entirely before recycling.

A Little Goes A Long Way

Each paint pop comes in our signature Delicate Moonlit-Glow™ finish and covers approximately 1.5–2 sq ft. There's plenty for you to test swatches across multiple spaces, allowing you to see how each color feels in different lights and environments. Cleanse your brush thoroughly after applying each color to maintain the purity and accuracy of every shade.

Separation Will Occur

Our Colorwright™ paint formulas are rich, thick, and alive with possibility. Like mayonnaise, ketchup, or yogurt, natural separation will occur as water rises to the top. This is a sign of their richness and quality. Hold the paint pop between two fingers, gently stroke it from end to end, flipping it over as you go. This small, mindful ritual wakes the color up, ready to become part of your space.

Take Charge of Your Paint Journey

Measure your walls by height × width, and subtract the area of doors and windows. Not a math person? Use an online calculator. Most walls need two coats. One gallon covers approximately. 350–400 sq ft per single coat on prime, smooth surfaces. *Higher-quality paint will cover more with less.

The role of a painter is to apply paint.

Painters are not involved in making or matching paint. Ask a paint company and they will tell you that all paint matches allow for up to a 10% variance due to differences in pigment formulas, quality levels, sheens, surface textures, lighting conditions, and surrounding colors. 
If they suggest matching the colors in another brand "to save money," ask them this one simple question:

"Will you guarantee a perfect color and quality match after the paint dries and cures for three weeks, or repaint for free if it's off? "
