Hello, Colorful Readers
In 2006, I wrote a book called "Devine Color; When Color Sings," which explores my relationship with music and color. I chose not to include images, allowing the stories to sing for themselves. While some readers wished for pictures, those who truly understood the concept grasped that when color comes together in harmony, you can "hear it sing"! This book introduced my notion of chromatic wisdom, which I understood to be foundational to my color work over time, and you'll understand better as you read on.
In music, the melody is like the story, and harmony is the setting that enhances it. Similarly, harmony comes in color. My approach ensures every color works together perfectly, creating emotional, beautiful resonant atmospheres that make color sing, baggage and all.
The relationship between music and color is well documented.

Because songs often carry specific emotional themes of optimism and energy, or nostalgia and regret, they may also create associations with very specific colors…" Post-It-Notes Blog | Read Full Article
